Introduction

Diersonesie is a vibrant psychedelic community that hosts retreats, festivals, and ceremonies. After attending and volunteering at several of their events, I developed a deep connection with the people and the mission. That bond naturally evolved into a new role—becoming the tech wiz behind the scenes, on a mission to create a digital experience that truly captures the spirit and playfulness of the Diersonesie community.

The Mission

This project started with a simple question: how can we make the Diersonesie experience felt online, not just explained?

After spending time within this beautiful community—volunteering, dancing, holding space—it became clear that the digital side of things needed to reflect the same energy.

Not polished perfection, but presence. Not just information, but invitation. The mission was to create a space that feels like the community itself: kind, curious, playful, and deeply intentional. A place where people can land, feel seen, and know they’re in the right place.

Every part of this process was guided by Diersonesie's core values. Whether it was designing intuitive flows for retreats, making sure the language felt warm and welcoming, or finding ways to express the joy of connection, the goal was always to build something that feels alive—like the people it represents.

Discovery & Style Exploration

Being part of the Diersonesie community from the inside gave this project a very different kind of starting point. I wasn’t approaching it as an outside designer trying to “capture the vibe” — I was already living it. I had danced at the festivals, shared ceremonies, and felt the magic of what happens when people come together with trust, care, and curiosity.

That insider connection built a foundation of trust, and with it came the creative freedom to explore and express the brand in a way that felt truly alive. Rather than sticking to a rigid brief or following standard design trends, I had the space to follow my intuition — to let the values and energy of the community guide the visual language.

This exploration led me into playful, unexpected directions. One of my favorite elements was creating the animated dancing avatars. They weren’t just a fun detail — they became a symbol of everything Diersonesie stands for: movement, joy, self-expression, and celebration. Designing them was pure joy, and it was one of those moments where my passion for the project really poured through.

The style evolved naturally from that place of connection and curiosity. Earthy colors, organic shapes, subtle animations — all of it was designed to evoke the feeling of being at a retreat or ceremony, grounded and open, with just the right amount of psychedelic sparkle. This phase was less about ticking boxes and more about asking, “How do we make people feel what Diersonesie is all about — even through a screen?

Development

The build was all about creating a smooth, expressive experience that matched the spirit of Diersonesie. I used Webflow as the core platform, then layered in GSAP to bring the site to life with playful animations and scroll-based interactions. It added movement, rhythm, and a sense of presence that made the site feel alive.

On the practical side, I set up a newsletter system with an automated welcome email, so new visitors are greeted with warmth right from the start. For event signups, I integrated Weeztix.com for seamless ticketing and checkout — keeping the journey from interest to action simple and intuitive.

Every element was designed to feel intentional, with just the right balance of function and flow.

Conclusion

I had a lot of fun building this website and, along the way, learned quite a bit about how event-based communities operate behind the scenes. From the flow of ticket sales to the importance of clear communication and timely follow-ups, every piece of the puzzle matters.

More than anything, this project reminded me how powerful it is to design for something you genuinely care about. Being part of Diersonesie made it easy to pour passion into every detail — and I think that energy comes through in the final result.

FAQ

How long does the entire process take from start to finish?

Each project generally takes about 8 weeks, from discovery to launch, with each phase designed for a smooth, comprehensive development of your brand and website.

If you need additional functionalities—like localization, member login, advanced CMS integrations, or automations—the timeline will be extended accordingly.

How much does a typical project cost?

While I’d love to help everyone, my time (like yours) is limited—so I’ve set a minimum project engagement of €2,000.

At this level, clients get a strong branding foundation: strategy workshops, visual and verbal identity, a fresh new logo, content strategy, offer positioning, and a refresh of their social media profiles.

For full website design and development, projects typically range from €5,000 to €10,000+, depending on scope and complexity.

If you already have a strong brand identity in place and just need a sharp one-pager, we can often make something work around €3,000 - €5,000.

You can book a Clarity Call to discuss your project and explore if we’re a good fit.

Or move forward in smaller steps:
Website Audit €47
1h Consultation €97

How does payment work? Do you offer payment plans?

I typically work with a 50% upfront, 50% on delivery structure, but flexible payment plans are available upon request.

Do you offer ongoing support after the project is complete?

Our joint creation is meant to be shared with the world, and I’m here to help. I offer ongoing support in SEO, content strategy, marketing, and design assets to attract the right attention and continue building on our work—driving real growth for your brand.

Will I be able to update the website myself?

Yes. During onboarding, I offer a 1-on-1 training session to show you how to manage and update content confidently. Webflow’s CMS is designed to be user-friendly, making updates easy.

Can I make design revisions during the process?

Absolutely. I believe in close collaboration and welcome your input every step of the way. With regular check-ins, video updates, and a dedicated digital workspace, you'll always be in the loop. I'm here to ensure every detail aligns with your unique vision, making design revisions a natural and integral part of our process.

Is Webflow the right platform for my business?

After testing nearly every platform in the industry, I’ve found Webflow to be the #1 choice for building high-quality, scalable websites that are easy to manage. Its advanced design capabilities allow us to create a custom, professional site that grows with your business and enables effortless updates.

How will this investment help my business grow?

This investment creates a professional, high-impact online presence that attracts quality clients and supports your business goals. My approach enhances brand perception, engagement, and conversions, laying a strong foundation for long-term growth.
